Our Story
Originally from Montreal, we moved to Smithers, BC, in early spring of 2023. After a year of travelling the country with our tiny house on wheels in search of adventure and a place to put down roots, we arrived in Smithers, and instantly knew that this was home.
And so, by combining our experience of carpentry, years of working in renowned Montreal restaurants, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the Poutine Shack food truck was born. We bring you the true taste of poutine, made with fresh cut fries, real cheese curds, traditional sauce, and a variety of mouth-watering toppings. This isn’t your run of the mill poutine! Other menu items include imported Montreal smoked meat, a variety of entrées, desserts, and drinks.
